THE CHALLENGE:
A specialty retailer with over 400 stores needed to reduce the labor cost in manning their 24/7 Loss Prevention hotline.THE SOLUTION:
The 24/7 hotline was answered by our monitoring center. Scripts were developed to capture the correct information and forwarded daily to corporate. Stores were able to speak to a live attendant which provided comfort to the store and held them accountable for reporting incidents while allowing Loss Prevention to obtain the information they needed without having to staff. - PROACTIVE SERVICE
THE CHALLENGE:
A national casual dining restaurant chain did not have adequate video when investigating issues due to improper camera coverage.THE SOLUTION:
Secure remote access to the DVR was given to Short Circuit’s technical support staff. The DVR is accessed to confirm cameras are sending video to the recorder, that the quality of image is acceptable and that the views established by corporate are being obtained. If minor adjustments can be made locally, store personnel are instructed on action to take. If not, recommended service needs are routed to corporate for approval.
