• $600,000 ANNUAL SAVINGS

    THE CHALLENGE:
A specialty retailer with over 4,000 locations wanted to reduce on-site service cost and downtime when experiencing CCTV equipment failure.

    THE SOLUTION:
After replacing, the failed item would be returned to our Repair Center for evaluation. If economical to repair the item would be serviced, warehoused and sent out when a replacement was needed. Over 70% of failed items were economically repaired and Cap Ex cost reduced $600,000 from the previous year. Downtime was reduced by 86% by having an inventory of repaired equipment available to ship.

  • OBSOLETE MODEL REPAIR

    THE CHALLENGE
A national department store chain had thousands of Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras that the manufacturer no longer supported and were told would need to be upgraded.

    THE SOLUTION:
PTZ cameras were sent in and over 75% were able to be repaired. Once repaired they were inventoried and sent out as cameras failed in the store. Items unable to be repaired were salvaged and replacement parts re-used when viable. Customer saved over $10,000 per month by repairing cameras that were “no longer repairable” and reduced downtime to two days by having an inventory of repaired cameras available to ship.
